(NWPR) - Fulger Transport is seeking to add 10 company drivers to its US operations for its midwest, south and southeast lanes. Details are listed below:

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
Wages: mileage based/paid delay time/stop pay with multi stops/average weekly miles 2400
Rate: .52 mile/ $16 hourly delay pay/6th & 7th consecutive day premium/pay range $65k to $80k+
Commodities: reefer and dry freight. No touch.
Bonus: $4000 signing bonus.
Benefits: medical/dental/vision/disability insurance.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High School/GED completion.
  • CDL A no current endorsements needed.
  • Minimum of 1 year combination of intercity, short and long haul driving experience (tractor-trailer).
  • English communication skills.
  • Professionalism in customer service.

Duties:
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials to east, southeast south destinations.
  • Plan travel schedules and routes to maintain on time pick-ups/deliveries.
  • Receive and relay information to Central Dispatch.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle.Proper pre/post trip inspections to identify potential mechanical issues.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness. Maintain clean equipment inside and out.
  • Update driver logbook/prepare all reports/docs and submit timely.
